If you are not familiar to Kite surfing it is a surface water sport combining aspects of wake boarding, snowboarding, windsurfing, surfing, paragliding, skateboarding and gymnastics into one extreme sport.
A kite surfer harnesses the power of the wind with a large controllable power kite to be propelled across the water on a kite board similar to a wakeboard or a small surfboard, with or without foot straps or bindings.Kitesurfing is a style of kiteboarding specific to wave riding, which utilises standard surfboards or boards shaped specifically for the purpose.
There are different styles of kiteboarding, including freestyle, free ride, downwinders, speed, course racing, wake style, jumping and kitesurfing in the waves.
Pango Surf Beach is for Intermediate and Advanced kiters and is about 1km from La Brise De Mer. It is a popular surf beach and excellent at high tide for the advanced riders.
Winter (June to September) is the best season for surf-kiting here as the trade winds are pretty steady.
